S01E09 - "The Brain Eater" Robert Maudsley

In the ninth episode of British Murders, I tell the story of English serial killer Robert Maudsley aka "The Brain Eater".

Robert Maudsley murdered a total of four men between 1974-1978.

He is one of only a few murderers who became serial killers whilst in prison.

Robert has spent over 40 years in solitary confinement, and his custom-built cell is similar to that of Hannibal Lecter in Thomas Harris' novel 'The Silence of the Lambs'.

He is known as Britain's most dangerous prisoner.
