A great listen
Hi Stuart, I’ve been listening to you for a long time now and I still enjoy the podcast as much as ever. For the record, I actually like your attempts at pronunciation and I think your accent is fab. Looking forward to the next episode.
British Murders podcast review
I love your telling of each individual murder case, informative details from start to finish and lasting long enough to want to binge listen more and more. Introduction of the factual information of the area is always appreciative, prompts me to look up sometimes to gain extra knowledge of your input.

A must listen to
Well written and narrated podcast. Stuart delivers a top notch podcast. Miss the movie reviews, time to bring them back please.
Are they listening?
Have you ever considered that someone who has committed murder is listening? Or even one that you've covered? Maybe they get a kick of out it, what do you think? You've given me 3 months of listening up and down the country. Fantastic and I am upset I've caught up and waiting for season 14! Wow! Can you cover the murderer Ryan singleton from canley in Coventry who I grew up with. He killed stephen crook in exeter. One of the lads with Ryan we used to call him cabbage. with It was covered by a TV show called caught on camera. He was shown reinacting the stabbing and carving of his head on a night club cctv camera. Maybe you could cover some murders in Coventry, there is plenty unfortunately.
One of the best around
I thoroughly enjoy your podcast for all the same reasons as so many have already given - concise informative interesting and UK based ... really like the guests you have on and as a lawyer myself am impressed by your knowledge and understanding of the legal system and processes! Was even impressed by your pronunciation of our Welsh names on the few you've done about our gods country! Just finished listening to the Hinterkaifek murders - but have to say just one quick google search brought up a far more plausible suspect.... the father himself! Anyway keep up the excellent quality and have a look at the Hay on Wye poisoner - another lawyer and one from the past!-

Informative and compassionate
I came across this podcast from a recommendation on Amazon music after I had finished a similar one that was American. It started on season 13 and I was hooked, it’s an interesting listen and Stuart has a soothing voice whilst telling the stories of those who were taken by evil. Only a few episodes in for me and the murder of Cheryl Moss came up. I know this well as I lived a road away from Stuart Harling and used to play at the park opposite his house. I’m a year older than him and the shock in the community at the time was huge. I will continue to listen and catch up on all the British Murder episodes.
Brilliant podcast
Stuart Blues is a really good narrator and I enjoy His podcast and find them very interesting. There is absolutely nothing wrong with his speech and I find his accent puts character into the true crime and makes this more real. Well done and I for one will continue to listen.
One of my favourites
I absolutely love your podcast! I’ve been listening for a while now and just listened to your Claudia Lawrence episode on my way home from work today. I did my nurse training at York Uni the year after Claudia went missing and I’ve studied this case but wow… I found out loads of info I didn’t know, you must have really done your research! You keep me company on my drive to and also thought I’d mention… as a fellow Northerner I also don’t pronounce my T’s 😅
Brilliant
I’ve been with you from the beginning but never commented before. You really did Claudia credit and love the fact you are now doing unsolved cases as well as resolved. I’m a ‘southerner’ and have no problem with your accent in fact it makes the podcast more interesting. Thanks for your amazing research too. 👍😊
Great podcast!
Just found this podcast and love it! Episodes a great length and research excellent. Love how respectful this is of victims and families. Love stu’s accent is he also pc Harrison burns in the Archers?
Trying to catch up
I'm currently binge listening to the British Murders podcast via Amazon Prime. I have only just discovered Stuart Blues and am only on series 5 (still loads more to listen to) . I have to say, this podcast is amazing. I love the "Daddy Facts" too. Stuart is very laid back and easy to listen to. I enjoy his randomness with the locations facts and nonsense ramblings during the story. He shows great empathy towards the victims and gives detailed accounts of the murders he has researched, whilst keeping the story short and to the point. I don't know how I will cope when I finally catch up and have to wait for more episodes. I also love the fact that he is from Yorkshire, as a Leeds born its nice to have a local accent to listen to :)
Best podcast I’ve heard in a while!
I was recommended this podcast a long time ago and honestly, I’m hooked! Stuart is a great and informative podcast host. All of the cases he reads are in great detail, with huge respect to the people involved. It helps me with my long commute to London and I recommend to all my customers. Keep up the great work!
The best true crime podcast
I’ve listened to a lot of Stuart’s podcasts and they are all fascinating. He weaves the information into such an interesting story. It’s the podcast equivalent of a page turner. Thank you for bringing so many of the terrible stories of these poor murder victims to public attention.
Best podcast
Omg I love your podcast. I only recently discovered it and it's by far the easiest one to listen to, I love that it's straight to the point and even if the story is complicated, you always tell it in a way that's easy to understand. The lovely accent helps and I love how you explain everything. Please do more from Northern Ireland though, everybody forgets about us 🤣 thanks 😊
Just found your show. Absolute brilliant
I have listened to the last 3 shows of series 13 while driving. You have the perfect accent for the show. (Leeds I think as I have stayed in the city a few times). Just excellent, really informative and right feeling.
Always well told stories.
I never usually leave reviews but I just had to for you. One of my favorite podcasts, I love the you keep episodes to around 30 minutes but still give plenty of information and facts about the local areas. I normally listen when I'm in bed going to sleep and your voice is very soothing. If I could suggest a case that I've not seen many podcasts covering which is quite surprising as it's one of the worst racist murders along with Stephen Lawrence. The case of Kriss Donald from Glasgow. I was around the same age and from the same sort of area so it hits close to my heart. Hopefully you add it to your list. Thank you Stuart for everything you do, keeping these victims alive through your podcast.
Great!
I found your podcast after it was suggested on Spotify about a month ago, been binging ever since, whilst working in my shed learning silversmithing. Now completely caught up, so off to binge Killer Stories with Bobbie Holmes. Could you cover the murder of Susan Nicholson by Robert Trigg. As its a Worthing based murder my home town! Thanks Stu
Finally
Finally a Northern accent and a down to earth northerner. I’m in the north west so not quite as far north as you but I swear this is the best podcast I have found to date. British crime and British areas I know or I can at least know where to look on a map. Trully compassionate podcaster. Thanks again Kerry xx Near Wigan
Well researched cases and quickly executed
I found Stuart’s podcast about 6 months ago and it’s taken me up until now to get to series 10 which I have started this week. Stuart tells the cases in a really intriguing way, I like how he gets you to remember the victims as well, especially the Peter Sutcliffe 2 part, they were really good an dit’s true, the victims are always forgotten. There are a couple of cases I would love to see Stuart cover, the first is one that happened back in the late 80’s, the victim was 14 year old boy called Stuart Gough and he was murdered by Victor Miller, this was local to me at the time and in all the news papers, it’s the first memory I have on murder cases but I can’t find much information on the case so I’m hoping Stuart can. The second case I would like covered is the case of Stephanie Slater and Julie Dart, the criminal here was Michael Sams, Stephanie lived a few streets away from me at the time, so this case was very close. Excellent Podcast Stuart, keep up the good work, these series should be made for TV by the way, they would be a great hit!
Just brilliant
I just discovered this podcast and I love it. Your ice breakers and accurate rounded cover of each case including town backgrounds. I’m a Brit currently working in Spain and it has provided a welcome link to home and making spreadsheeting tasks a bit more interesting. I’d love to hear you cover the case of Terry Edmonds from Tunbridge wells, thanks again , Hannah
GORESOME
Having listened to the podcast for the past year with my Fiancée every time we go out in the car it is the only podcast I have ever enjoyed Listening too, the way Stu tells the story makes for easy enjoyable listening. Waiting for each new episode to see where the story will unfold. Love it 😀 keep up the great work Stuart
BRITISH MURDERS PODCASTS
I was recommended it by the podcast ‘Seeing Red’ couple recently and I haven’t looked back. I love the stories and Stuart has a real talent of presenting himself so well during his podcasts. I also like his accent and the banter he has with other guests on various shows.
Brilliant
Found this podcast awhile ago now and absolutely love it!! Such care and compassion for the Victims and their family’s 🙏🏻
Best podcast by far!
Hi Stu! I’m a truck driver, and I was recommended a British murder podcast by a friend of mine. I couldn’t remember what it was called, so I did a search for British Murders (obviously), and was HOOKED from the first episode! I’ve caught up now to Season 3 Episode 9, and I won’t lie to you, I was absolutely devastated to know that I have to wait for episodes now! That said, I do have some interviews to catch up on, so it’s not all doom and gloom just yet. I love the episode length, it’s perfect, and the detail you go into, without being boring, is brilliant. You come across as kind and compassionate to the victims, and the little adlibs you come up with to describe the villains are accurate and funny, though I’d usually use much more colourful language! I tried episode one of REDRUM, and I’m not sure it’s for me. Very different style to your good self, but I’m going to persevere for a few episodes and see how I go. Thanks for the podcast, I can’t wait for new episodes! I originally hail from a town called Sudbury, in Suffolk (not far from Bury St Edmunds/Ipswich/Colchester/Haverhill), and wonder if there’s any chance of you finding a murder in Sudbury, pretty please? Keep on keeping on, you’re doing a GRAND job.
Reminds me of home
As a Brit now living in Hobart, Tasmania. I love listening to UK podcasts as they give me a feel of home. And this is the best one around, and by miles the best true crime one. Stu is amazing, very thorough in his research and takes it so seriously, his work is incredible and I look forward to the new episodes. G’day mate and cheerio. P.S. any chance you could cover the case of Colette Aram from Keyworth in Nottingham?
Brilliant podcast
I recently found this podcast and have pretty much listened to them all. So interesting and so easy to listen to. Have now signed up so don’t miss one.
Sensational
I love this podcast, I listen on Spotify. I came across it by accident and have never looked back. I live in Australia and have exhausted all of the Australian True Crime Podcasts, I'm sure of it. I was born in the UK so I also have a sick fascination with British True Crimes. I am loving the location descriptions and also the history that you provide. I also love fun facts for reference and the true facts that sound like Bullshit. Keep up the great work Stuart, I cannot get enough of this podcast and your sense of humour. Well done for the last 4 years, keep going!!!
Brilliant, been listening for years
I work night shifts and find listening to your podcasts helps the night go a little quicker, I have recommended your podcast to my colleagues. I love the care you pay to ensuring each episode is about the victim rather than the murderer or the crime and also appreciate that you touch on lesser known cases. I have a case suggestion - the murder of 15 year old Helen Gorrie in 1992. A man was convicted of her murder but that conviction was thrown out on technical grounds.
