Top podcast
Love the show. I’m mostly a fan of shorter Uk and Irish based podcasts with one host and this one fits the hill perfectly! Views are always balanced to give details of both sides without ever sounding sympathetic to the perpetrator. Please stop attempting accents though, it’s cringey. 5/5 though, not taking points off for my nitpicking.

Love this podcast
Came across this when looking for a true crime podcast to listen to and I am loving it! Bingeing from S1 E1 and have made it up to S9 so far! Great to listen to whilst walking the dog, doing the cleaning or tuning out the kids!

Amazing Podcast
I found your podcast just over a month ago and now have listened to every episode, this podcast is absolutely incredible and has helped keep me awake during my nightshifts. The work and personal time you put into this show is evident and is greatly appreciated by all listeners keep up the excellent work. I also have a case for you to look at Harry trimaan Dhillon who murdered Alice Ruggles, I personally knew him from our time sharing a room in the infantry training centre of catterick.

Goresome
Me and my fiancé Lewis absolutely love your podcast, can’t go anywhere in the car without listening to you Also love your Yorkshire accent as a fellow Yorkshire lass myself Ps your accents are funny but quite good Keep it up ❤️

Perfect bedtime listening
Great format with easy to follow and interesting content. We’ve listened to a LOT of true crime pod casts and this is our firm favourite. My husband and I fall asleep to the stories every night. Cheerio.

The best one ever
I don't normally lesten on apple podcasts but as spotifi's search option is abismal and I'm nowhere near my alexa I'm just catching up after a few weeks of bizzyness. This is simply amazing. Try as I might I cannot find one that compares. I tried Bobby Homes one and between you and me Stew, yours is much better. More ingaging. I wish more podcasts were like this.

short, sharp & smart
recently came across the your podcast on Spotify, and listen to it every day while working from home alone. Short bitesized episodes which keeps me engaged. Sharp (witty) comments and personal options and smart research. 10/10 My I suggest the northern Ireland case of the murder of Pearl Gamble. Who was killed by the last man to be killed in northern Ireland.

First podcast as a listener
Hi Stuart, I came across your series whilst trying to find a good murder podcast (my very first podcast!) you’re very informative and you really do your research! Keep the episodes coming!

Bonus episode was cracking!
Loved the last episode and not normally into the interviews. So informative and you asked the right questions.

Brilliant podcast
I found your podcast by accident on Spotify and am now hooked! The short story style of your narration is really easy to digest as I drive around at work. Engaging and informative, you have a voice that’s easy to listen to. Keep up the good work. Martin

Great show
Hi Stuart, I'm loving the podcast which keeps me company on my job as a delivery driver. Feels a strange thing to listen to gruesome tales of true crime every day (I'm still playing catch up) but your presentation style makes it seem like a perfectly normal thing! If posssible I'd like you to cover the story of one or other of the 2 murderers I've known in the past: Graeme Jarman who I worked with in the 1980s when he wouldn't say boo to a goose but went on to kidnam young girls and eventually murdered pensioner Judith Richardson in Hexham. And Robin Garbutt, a local shopkeeper who was convicted of murdering his wife at their post office. I'd be interested in your take on the evidence presented in this case. Cheers and keep up the great work :) Jim

Best true crime podcast
Been listening for over a year now. Just love how Stuart keeps you engaged in the stories while showing the up most respect to the victims of these crimes. Can’t wait for season 11.

Morbidly Incredible
Found your show on Spotify, and I was instantly hooked! The combination of tangents and morbidity make it an addictive listen. I love listening to you whilst I’m working. Definitely makes the day pass!! Keep up the good work!!

Well worth the listen great host
I came across this about 6 weeks ago after searching for a good listen, loving it and I am already on season 5 listen on may way to and from work

Thee Best Podcast
Hello Stuart After finding your podcast around April I have binged throughout and now I have caught up. What I am going to do now Stu? Just like to say it’s the best podcast hands down and your attention to detail, the lesser and well known cases, compact episodes and the ice breakers are a perfect mix. Keep up the good work Stuart and never change. All the best Patrick

Spot On!
Probably the best true crime podcast series I've come across. Each episode is just the right length to keep the listener hooked and Stuart obviously does a lot of research into the cases he presents. He keeps to the facts with just the occasional anecdote which makes a refreshing change from a lot of podcasters who frequently veer right off the course of the story. A lot of the murders Stuart covers get very little media attention so hopefully his coverage of these lesser known cases might result in some progress.

Love it!
I found this podcast a month ago, and I've already finished every season and I love it! I love the way you try to pronounce australian and American words and your podcast makes me laugh! Thank you for keeping me happy and carry on the good work! :)

Very good
I was in a car with my dad Nick looking for thunder and lightning but as we passed the place of Albert Dryden's crime he told me a summary and told me to listen to S9E4 on my phone, which I did. As soon as I heard you say that my dad had requested this story I knew it was going to be good and it was, couldn't have made it better.

Short and Sweet
A nice podcast that is factual and not too long. Keeps your attention. I like the interviews and the coverage of mostly unknown cases I’ve not heard of or on the many podcasts available. Well done and keep up the good work!

Amazing
Binged this podcast within a week, it makes my day at work so much better. Is there any chance you could do the case of Raoul Moat? I know it’s quite a big named case but I’d love to hear your take on it 👍

Thank you for keeping me company!
I’ve got through all seasons in about 2 weeks… I’m really enjoying the ease and information in your podcasts. I’ve always been interested in True crime and I’m so pleased that other people are fascinated by it too. Respect for the victim and their families really comes across in every episode and I’m a little sad that I’m up to date! I listen while I’m cooking, driving and I have even been bypassing Netflix for British Murders! Keep up the excellent work Stu Blue! Amina

Love this
Love this podcast found it when I came back to work after maternity leave when i was looking for something to make my days better. The bite size nature is perfect. You display the utmost respect for the victims and I love the distain evident in your tone when you're talking about an absolute bastard. I am Irish and i had to laugh several times during your interview with Donal MacIntyre and the tangents he went on pure Irish story teller! Keep it up and never mind the critics what do they know!

Brilliant
S, you're great. My colleagues and I enjoy the content. They're learning and enjoying. Not in a bad way. No serials here!

My new fave podcast
I actually can’t believe I’ve found a podcast be someone from Huddersfield! It’s lovely to hear our accents actually out there 🤣. Amazing set up and layout of the information and very interesting. Could I request you talk about the murder of Robert Wilson on Manchester Rd. I unfortunately knew one of the Murdered Kiyran Earnshaw from school and I was not shocked one but when I found out it was him. Keep up the great podcast , up the Hudds!

So many cases I have never heard of until I started listening to British murders. So much detail in every case keep up the good work. Liam

Cheers!
Loved your episode with Neil Woods. Such interesting insights into the police, drugs, drug use, drug users and how to more effectively deal with drugs in society. Not what I was expecting from a podcast called British Murders, but it was like old school radio listening where you stumble on a programme that you didn’t know you were interested in. Thanks!

What a way to deal with sleepless nights
This is the only podcast I listen to. Loving the accent, content and episode length.

Huh!! So that's what you look like!!!
I'm new to your podcasts, I listen via spotify on my commute to & from work, as I do my weekly food shop and the housework etc. I really enjoy your content & accent (took me ages to figure out where you're from and in all honestly I never got it, you happened to mention it in one episode!) however..... I've just watched via youtube (as I'm searching for the Peter Tobin episodes) and just seen your face for the first time....honestly not what I pictured at all (haha) - you've a wise, old, commanding voice...and then up pops a youthful, bright eyed, face - I was shooketh! lol. Anyways, I'm enjoying catching up as you get me through the tedious tasks in life, so thank you :-)

Perfect length and content
Love the mixture of factual information and personal anecdotes to humanise the experience. I like shorter episodes as some true crime podcast episodes end up being hours long and it’s hard to stay engaged.
