Great podcast in a fab bitesize format. I work on my own all day so you've has helped keep me company for a few months now while I binged the entire back catalogue. Could you look at the murder of Hannah Foster from Southampton. She was a friend when I was at school and her murder still haunts me now

Excellent

Came across this on Spotify a couple of weeks ago and am already on season 6 episode 10. Think this podcast is great, easy listening and entertaining and just the right length. Listen to it while driving to work and any other time I can. Thanks for keeping us entertained Stuart. Keep up the good work.

I found this podcast not long after it's first few episodes so I've been following since the beginning almost and it's still one of my favourite to listen to. I love that you don't do filler talk you pack the episodes with relevant information and it's great. Keep up the good work.

Well researched, concised, compassionate

I currently have to work outside the UK and Stuart's accent reminds me of home. The podcast doesn't just pay lip service to being victim-centered, he actually is, and having listened to every free episode in a short time, you really notice how he worked hard to improve the quality of his work. Time is put into the research and the editing instead of the sloppy TC podcasters who leave in mistakes. As a former audio editor, it's good to see someone caring about these things, since the craft has become so accessible with modern technologies. Just one piece of feedback: the name Pia is pronounced Pee-ah. Not Pie-ah. Just like Mia. There are some other UK TC podcasters who can pronounce the same name three different ways in an 18 minute episode. But Stuart is usually on point with names so I am not sure what happened this week (04/04/2024). Thanks for the great content, keep up the good work!

Stuart, I really enjoy listening to your shows. I recently found your podcasts after listening to Anatomy of Murder. So after a few if your recent shows, I’m now going back to older podcasts. Bobbie Holmes was a gues to talk about the eyeball killer. Sorry, but with all her giggling through the podcast and lack of thorough details, I vote her as terrible! She sounded like she wanted to be on a date with you! Don’t invite her back!

Brilliant podcast apart from Stu being from Yorkshire haha

Love this podcast. I first heard you the two times you guest stared on reddit on wiki and thought I'd give your podcast a listen. I really enjoy your humour throughout while also showing victim's the respect they deserve. I listen to lots of true crime podcast and yours is the only one discussing cases I have never heard of. Could you please do an episode on Buck Ruxton? Thanks again for a great podcast :)

Best pod cast ever

This is an excellent podcast. Stuart has a very relaxing voice and is always very sensitive & caring in telling the stories each week. I love that each episode is about 30 minutes and each story is throughly researched. Well done Stuart you should be very proud of your show.

I’m so glad I found this podcast and that I found it in 2024- I have so much to catch up on. Perfectly bite sized to listen to on the drive to and from work or when doing some work at home. Love Stuart’s accent and easy going mannerisms. A must listen!!!

British - love it!

Great podcast, love Stuart's voice being a real Britophile! Also like the succinct episodes that make them easy to listen to when time is short. The fact that all of his cases are solved murders helps put this terrible world into perspective, allowing the listener to appreciate that not everyone - GETS AWAY WITH MURDER!

Best true crime podcast out there

I am currently binging around 6hrs a day at work. I can’t get enough of your storytelling Stuart! I love the accent as I lived near Yorkshire for a long time before moving to Perth Australia. I’ve found kinda murdery and red rum through your podcast, so I have many more hours of binging to come. Thank you for the amazing stories! I was born in Northern Ireland and would love to hear anything from there

Wonderful Podcast

Enjoyed this podcast for years. Well researched episodes and enjoy looking up parts in UK I wasn’t aware of. Stuart’s northern accent gives it that extra gravitas, offset by touches of humour (I’m a southerner). Stuart also sounds a lot like my mate Carl from uni. Just sayin’.

Superbly narrated

Best one I've listened to recently (though I have not listened to them in order!) the Peter Manuel one and "Peckish Pete" which quite put me off my sausage roll from Greggs. Brilliantly detailed, humorous in places. I love all the British Murders podcasts.

Interesting and easy listening

I am really enjoying listening to these podcasts. I am on the road a lot for my job and listening to British Murders keeps me company. Stuart is easy to listen to and his style of delivery keeps you keen to hear more. I have stopped listening to many audiobooks because I don’t like the sound of their voice. Might just be because Stuart is a fellow northerner though 🤩 I would definitely recommend this show to anyone. I have just subscribed too! Keep up the great work.

Great podcast

I’m really enjoying working my way through all the episodes to this podcast. Stu has a great way of telling the stories in an interesting and succinct way. I’m on season 7 at the minute so still got plenty to keep me going! I love the little daddy facts at the beginning and also how there’s no waffle. It makes a refreshing change. Stu’s really accent is great….not so much the accents he attempts but it’s funny to hear him attempt them 😅 Keep up the good work!

Addictive podcast

Came across this podcast looking for something “True Crime”. I didn’t think that these shorter than expected episodes would work but they are just perfect 👌🏽 It’s taken me 2 months but I’ve finally reached series 12.
