Best true crime podcast out there

I am currently binging around 6hrs a day at work. I can’t get enough of your storytelling Stuart! I love the accent as I lived near Yorkshire for a long time before moving to Perth Australia. I’ve found kinda murdery and red rum through your podcast, so I have many more hours of binging to come. Thank you for the amazing stories! I was born in Northern Ireland and would love to hear anything from there

Fantastic podcast

Found this podcast about a month ago, and am almost up to date. Makes housework and gardening a breeze, fantastic layout, great voice and very engaging with a little humour. Keep it up!!!

Wonderful Podcast

Enjoyed this podcast for years. Well researched episodes and enjoy looking up parts in UK I wasn’t aware of. Stuart’s northern accent gives it that extra gravitas, offset by touches of humour (I’m a southerner). Stuart also sounds a lot like my mate Carl from uni. Just sayin’.

Superbly narrated

Best one I've listened to recently (though I have not listened to them in order!) the Peter Manuel one and "Peckish Pete" which quite put me off my sausage roll from Greggs. Brilliantly detailed, humorous in places. I love all the British Murders podcasts.

Interesting and easy listening

I am really enjoying listening to these podcasts. I am on the road a lot for my job and listening to British Murders keeps me company. Stuart is easy to listen to and his style of delivery keeps you keen to hear more. I have stopped listening to many audiobooks because I don’t like the sound of their voice. Might just be because Stuart is a fellow northerner though 🤩 I would definitely recommend this show to anyone. I have just subscribed too! Keep up the great work.

Makes my commute to and from work so much more interesting! :) BTW, your Welsh pronunciation is SHYTE and I shout at my speaker whenever you pronounce summat wrong (I probably get some strange looks when I'm in slow traffic!). :) I love your podcasts, so I'll let you off - for now. Great podcast

I’m really enjoying working my way through all the episodes to this podcast. Stu has a great way of telling the stories in an interesting and succinct way. I’m on season 7 at the minute so still got plenty to keep me going! I love the little daddy facts at the beginning and also how there’s no waffle. It makes a refreshing change. Stu’s really accent is great….not so much the accents he attempts but it’s funny to hear him attempt them 😅 Keep up the good work!

expat living in new zealand found by accident and have just caught up after binge listening perfect podcast in quantity quality and length keep it up stu as i grew up in Nuneaton Warwickshire until 2002 could you please cover the murder of Naomi Smith by a villain (could think of other words)called Edwin Hopkins she was 15 he was 19 plenty of interesting facts on google cheers

Addictive podcast

Came across this podcast looking for something “True Crime”. I didn’t think that these shorter than expected episodes would work but they are just perfect 👌🏽 It’s taken me 2 months but I’ve finally reached series 12. I thoroughly recommend you putting this podcast on your favourites list. Great work Fella 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

a*** Review - the best true crime podcast out there

Please read mine out - think it got missed last time. I found your podcast after catching up with my usual crime podcasts and can't stop listening. I love the fact you go into detail but not too much or too little and your thorough with your research. The interviews give a little break from the norm which I love and have learnt so much from them, I've even bought some of the books. Your accent is so sexy and I always laugh when you try other accents. Keep up the good work Stu. Cheerio lol xxxx

Great podcast

I’m a Londoner living in New Zealand. It’s great to listen to Stuart’s accent along with his sense of humour that goes over Kiwis heads! Great show, enjoy the length of them and the scene settings. Side note, I often listen to the podcast with a cup of Yorkshire tea- best tea in the world that I get my mum to ship over for me. True Crime and a cup of rosey-Lee - can’t beat it!

Great podcast!

Found this podcast a couple of weeks ago and can't stop listening. Loved the guest interview with Her Honour Wendy Joseph QC, so interesting, and her book is now in my TBR pile along with Shay Doyle and Steven Keogh's! The amount of research is evident, stays respectful to all involved, and I especially like the tangents you go off on. Very easy to listen to, great work, thank you :)

Just perfect

Hellooo! I found your podcast by chance but I have listen to all of your episodes now and wait not so patiently for each weeks new episode! Love love love!! I know you tend to do lesser known cases however as someone who works in health care I was wondering if you would consider the newish case of Lucy Letby? I am also from Hereford and find this a heartbreaking but interesting case… everyone seems very torn about it! Thank you :)
